How to Use Live Event Mode

What is Live Event Mode?

Live Event Mode turns an Album into a live photo booth for a celebration. Guests scan a QR code or tap a link, snap a photo or record a short video, and it goes straight to the album — no account needed.

How to join a live event

1. Scan the QR code or open the link on your phone.
2. Enter your name and phone number.
3. We send a quick verification text to confirm it's you.
4. Take a photo, record a video, or choose something from your camera roll.
5. Add an optional caption and tap Share This Memory.

When a live event ends

Live events only stay open for a window around the celebration. Once a live event closes, the link and QR code stop accepting new submissions — you'll see a friendly note letting you know it has ended. Everything already shared stays on the album. If you arrive before the event has started, you'll see a note with the start time so you know when to come back.

Good to Know

• You do not need a ShareLocket account — just a phone number for quick verification.
• All photos and videos go through our standard content review, so everything stays appropriate.
• If you'd like to keep visiting the album afterwards, ask the album owner for an invitation.
