How to Use Live Event Mode

What is Live Event Mode?

Live Event Mode turns your Album into a live photo booth for your event. Guests scan a QR code or tap a link, snap a photo or record a short video, and it goes straight to your album — no sign-up required.

Creating a Live Event

1. Open your album and go to Album Settings.
2. Scroll down to the Live Event Mode section.
3. Choose how long the live event should last (12 hours, 1 day, 2 days, or 3 days).
4. Decide whether to start it right away or schedule it for later.
5. Tap Create Live Event Link.

Sharing with Guests

Once your live event is active, you'll see:

• A shareable link — copy it and send via text, email, or social media.
• A QR code — print it, display it on a screen at the event, or include it on a table card.

How Guests Join

1. Guests scan the QR code or open the link on their phone.
2. They enter their name and phone number.
3. We send a quick verification text to confirm it's them.
4. They can then take a photo, record a video, or choose something from their camera roll.
5. Add an optional caption and tap Share This Memory.

Closing a Live Event

The live event closes automatically when the timer runs out. You can also close it early from Album Settings by tapping Close Live Event. Once closed, the link and QR code stop accepting new submissions, but everything already shared stays on your album.

Running Multiple Live Events

You can have more than one live event running at the same time on a single album. This is handy if your celebration spans multiple days or locations — just create a new live event for each one.

Good to Know

• Guests do not need a ShareLocket account — just a phone number for quick verification.
• You can see how many guests have joined right from Album Settings.
• All photos and videos go through our standard content review, so everything stays appropriate.
