The Activity Tab
See everything happening on your album, approve what is waiting, and hide or remove anything you do not want shown.
Your Activity Tab
The Activity tab is one tidy place where you can look back over everything that has happened on your album — every post, every comment, every message — newest first. It is also where anything waiting for your approval lives. Think of it as the album's history book and your moderation tray, rolled into one.
Where to find it
- Open your album.
- Tap the Activity tab in the workspace sub-nav.
Activity is always there for you and your co-editors — even when nothing is waiting.
What you'll see
One feed with every post and comment on your album, most recent first. Use the chips at the top of the page to filter the list:
- All — everything in one stream.
- Pending — only the items still waiting for your approval (comments, Chorus posts, and access requests).
- Posts — just the photos, videos, audio, stories, and messages.
- Comments — just the comments people have left.
- Album — only the posts and comments you and your co-editors have added to the album itself.
- Chorus — only the posts and comments your guests have shared in the Chorus.
The number on each chip tells you how many items match — so you can see at a glance whether anything needs your attention. Every row also wears a small Album or Chorus tag right next to its Post / Comment label, so you can tell at a glance which side of your album each entry came from.
Sorting and searching
Two extra controls live at the top of the feed for when there's a lot to look through:
- Sort — switch between Newest first (the default — most recent post or comment at the top) and Oldest first (helpful when you want to read your album like a story, in order).
- Search — type a word or two into the search box at the top. We look for matches in post titles, post descriptions, and comment text, and narrow the feed to anything that mentions what you typed. Clear the box to see everything again.
Sort and search work alongside the filter chips, so you can do something like "show me only Comments, oldest first, mentioning 'birthday'" and we'll find them.
Approving things that are waiting
For pending rows, you have the same friendly options you've always had:
- Approve — let it through so everyone can see it.
- Reply — (for comments only) write a response that posts right after you approve. Your reply shows up as the album owner.
- Edit — tweak the wording or transcript before it goes live.
- Reject — take it down. The person who sent it won't be told.
- Mark as spam — remove it AND tell your album to be more careful with that person next time. After a few spam marks, new things from that person get hidden automatically.
Hiding or showing posts and comments
For things that are already published, you can decide what stays visible without deleting it forever:
- Find the post or comment in the feed.
- Tap Hide to tuck it away — your guests won't see it on the album anymore, but it stays in your Activity feed with a "Hidden" pill so you can bring it back.
- Tap Show on a hidden row to put it back in front of everyone.
Hide is gentle and reversible. Use it when you want a memory off the album for a while without losing it.
Removing something for good
- Find the post or comment.
- Tap Delete.
- Read the confirmation prompt and tap Delete again.
Deleting is permanent — the post or comment is removed from the album and from your Activity feed. The person who sent it won't be told.
Keyboard shortcuts
If you like using the keyboard, Activity has quick shortcuts:
- J and K move to the next or previous item.
- A approves a pending item.
- R opens a reply box (for comments).
- H hides or shows the highlighted item.
- Delete opens the confirm-and-delete prompt.
Handling a lot at once
Tick the boxes next to several items and use the bar at the top to Approve all, Hide all, Show all, or Delete all in one go. You'll be asked to confirm before anything is removed.
Where do member approvals live now?
Anything to do with people — pending member sign-ups and people asking for access to a private album — lives at the top of your People page in a pinned Pending approval section. That keeps your Activity feed focused on posts and comments, and your People page focused on who's in your album.
What the activity row colours mean
To help you scan your album activity at a glance, each row is tinted by what it is:
- Posts — new memories added to your album
- Comments — replies and notes left on existing memories or Chorus entries
The colour comes from your album theme, so the look stays consistent with the rest of your album.
