What happens when an album is archived
Archived albums are tucked away — the memories stay safe and the owner can bring them back anytime.
When an album is archived
If you visit an album and see "This album has been archived," it means the album owner has retired it.
Don't worry — the memories are still safe. The owner can restore the album at any time. If you'd like to revisit the photos and stories, just reach out to the person who created the album.
Why are albums archived?
Owners archive albums when an event has wound down or when they want to take a break from new contributions. Archiving is gentler than deleting — nothing is removed.
Will my comments and photos still be there?
Yes. Everything you and others added to the album is preserved exactly as it was. If the owner restores the album, you'll see all the same content again.
