Deleting a draft album you haven't published yet

If you start an album and decide it isn't the one — and you haven't purchased or published it — you can delete the whole draft and start over.

Deleting a draft album

If you started an album and changed your mind — maybe you mistyped the title, picked the wrong cover photo, or just want to start fresh — you can remove the whole draft as long as you haven't purchased or published it yet.

Once you've purchased or published an album, the Delete option goes away. From that point on, the kindest way to step back from an album is to archive it instead, which hides it without removing your memories.

How to delete a draft from your shelf

  1. Go to My Shelf.
  2. Find the draft album you want to remove.
  3. Tap the Delete button on the album card.
  4. Confirm by tapping Delete draft album.

How to delete a draft from inside the album

  1. Open the album you want to remove.
  2. Tap the Settings tab.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete draft album.
  4. Confirm by tapping Delete draft album in the pop-up.

What happens after I delete a draft?

The album, any photos or stories you started, and your invite list are all permanently removed. This step can't be undone, so we'll always ask you to confirm before anything goes away.

Tip: If you've already purchased or published your album and want to take it offline, archive it instead — your memories will be tucked away safely, and you can bring them back any time.
