Inviting a co-editor with a private link
Generate a private link you can share with someone you trust — they click, sign in, and help run your album.
Why co-editors use a different path
Co-editors can do almost everything you can on your album — add photos and stories, respond to requests, and help keep things moving. The only things they can't do are publish the album or add other co-editors. Because you're handing someone that much trust, we make co-editor invites a little more personal.
Instead of going out in an email or text blast, co-editor invitations are private links you create and share yourself — over chat, in person, however you like.
Sending a co-editor link
- Open your album and go to Workspace → People.
- At the top of the page you'll see the Co-editors section with up to five slots.
- Tap Generate link on an empty slot.
- Copy the link we show you, then share it with the person you'd like to make a co-editor.
The link only works once. As soon as someone clicks it and signs in to ShareLocket, they become a co-editor on your album and the link stops working for everyone else.
If you already invited them as a guest
No need to undo anything. When the person claims the co-editor link, we automatically clean up any pending guest invitation for them — they won't end up on your People list twice.
Taking a link back
Changed your mind before the link is used? Tap Revoke on that slot. The link stops working, and the slot becomes available again.
How many co-editors can I have?
Every album supports up to 5 co-editors. Removing a co-editor from the People list frees the slot for someone new.
