Write a story in your album

Write a memory in your own words with headings, lists, and bold text. Stories save as drafts while you type, so nothing gets lost.

Writing a Story

Sometimes a photo isn't enough — a story lets you write out a memory in your own words, as long or as short as you like.

How to write a story

  1. Tap the + button on your album.
  2. Choose Write a Story.
  3. Give your story a title (optional).
  4. Write away! You can use the formatting tools to add bold text, headings, lists, and more.
  5. Tap Save when you're ready for others to see it.

Stories save automatically

Don't worry about losing your work — stories are saved as drafts as you type. If you close the page before sharing, your draft will be waiting for you when you come back.

Finding your drafts

  1. Tap the + button on your album.
  2. Choose Write a Story.
  3. Your saved draft appears in the editor so you can carry on writing.
