How do I cancel my subscription?
Stop a subscription from renewing yourself, from My Account, at any time. Here's how, and what happens after you do.
Cancelling is always yours to do
You can stop a subscription from renewing yourself, at any time, without asking us. It takes about three taps.
How to cancel
- Go to My Account.
- Choose My subscription from the list down the side.
- If you see Manage subscription, tap it to open Stripe, where you can stop renewal.
- If you see Cancel subscription instead, tap it. Read what will change, then choose Yes, cancel to confirm — or Keep subscription if you'd rather not.
That's it. The date it ends is shown right there on the same card.
What happens next
- Nothing changes immediately. You keep everything you've paid for until the end of the period you're already in.
- You won't be charged again. Cancelling stops the next renewal.
- Nothing is deleted. Your albums, your photos, your videos, and every message stay exactly where they are.
- You can start again whenever you like, and everything is waiting.
- Changed your mind? If the Circle runs on free months, applying more months to it before it ends undoes the cancellation.
Updating your card instead
If a payment didn't go through and you'd rather fix the card than cancel, tap Manage subscription in that same My subscription section — or Manage in Stripe under Billing & invoices, where your invoices live. Either one opens a secure page run by Stripe where you can update your payment details.
If you're being charged for something you don't recognise
Some older accounts still have a monthly Chorus subscription from before Chorus became free. It keeps billing until it's cancelled — and cancelling it costs you nothing at all, because the Chorus is free now either way. If you see a monthly charge you weren't expecting, cancelling it is safe.
If a charge still doesn't look right after that, please get in touch and we'll look at it with you.
Refunds
Cancelling stops the next charge; it doesn't refund one that has already gone through, and there's no part-period credit. What you've paid for stays yours until the period ends. If a Circle runs on free months, the month under way runs to its end, and months that haven't started yet aren't returned.
