ShareLocket has a simple two-part pricing model — and only the first part is required:

• Album — $30, one time. A single payment makes the album yours forever, with unlimited editing for you and up to 5 co-editors. There is no subscription required, no time-based editing window, and no extra fees to keep it open.
• Chorus — $15/month, optional. An account-level add-on that opens the writable Chorus layer on all of your albums. While it's on, everyone with permission — you, your co-editors, your members, and your approved guests — can post messages, stories, photos, videos, audio, and files there, and leave comments and reactions. One subscription covers every album you own; you can start or stop it any time.

What happens if I don't add a Chorus?

Your album is still completely yours, and you and your co-editors can keep editing the album itself (your own photos, videos, audio, stories, and files) forever. What's missing is the writable Chorus layer — without it, no one (you included) can post to the Chorus, and your invitees can't leave their own messages or memories there. The Chorus is purely optional, so this is by design — you can turn it on whenever you want guests to start contributing.
