If your payment didn't go through
What to try when a purchase won't complete.

Sometimes a payment just doesn't go through on the first try — it happens to all of us. Here are a few simple things to try:
- Double-check the card number, expiration date, and security code. One wrong digit is usually the culprit.
- Make sure your billing address matches the one your bank has on file.
- Try a different card if you have one handy — some banks block new online charges until you confirm them.
- Give it a minute and try again. Occasionally the connection to the bank is briefly busy.
