Add your own item to a collection
Type an item straight into any collection, such as who's bringing the plates. It saves on its own and shows who added it, with their picture.
Add an item
ShareLocket fills in each collection from your circle's posts, and you can add to it yourself, even when there is no post to go with it.
- Open a collection and go to the end of its items.
- Type your item in the box there. It is labeled with the collection's first field, or Name in a collection you made yourself.
- Press Enter, or tap or click somewhere else. It saves on its own; there is no Save button.
- Your new item opens right there so you can fill in the rest. Where a field holds a list, put one per line. Each change saves by itself.
Anyone in your circle can add an item. In a collection someone kept from a question, only the person who kept it and the circle's owner can add, change, or remove items.
See who added it
Where other items link to the post they came from, an item you typed shows Added by and your name, with your profile picture. Everyone in your circle sees it like any other item, and it counts toward the collection.
If someone leaves the circle, the items they added stay. If someone deletes their account, the items they added are removed with it.
Change an item
Open the collection in Details or Table, choose Edit beside the value, and type the change. It saves on its own, and the page says Saved.
Remove an item
- Choose Remove on the item.
- When the page asks Remove this item?, choose Remove to take it out, or Keep to leave it as it is.
Removing an item you typed doesn't change any post, and items that came from posts still follow their posts. A paused circle is read-only.
