Pin highlights and fix a chapter's dates

Highlights

Pin your favorite photos and they sit at the top of the chapter, under Highlights, in the order they were pinned. Tap Pin to highlights under a photo to add it, and Unpin from highlights to take it back out. Anyone in your Circle can pin or unpin a photo, and a chapter can have up to 12 highlights.

Only photos that are part of the chapter can be pinned. If a photo is taken out of the chapter, it stops being a highlight too.

Correcting the dates of a chapter

Anyone in your Circle can set the days a chapter covers — a weekend, a week away, or one special day. That includes chapters ShareLocket grouped for you: if we got the dates a little wrong, you can put them right. Open the menu beside the chapter's name, choose Change dates, pick the days, and tap Save dates.

If a photo from outside those days is part of the chapter, the dates stretch to fit it, and they go back once that photo is taken out. They never shrink to less than the days you chose. The chapter shows who set its dates, so everyone knows where they came from.

You can also clear the dates that were chosen: tap Use the photos’ dates, and the chapter goes back to using the days its photos are from. You can choose the dates when you create a chapter, too.

Changing the cover

Any chapter can have its cover changed to another photo that is part of it. Open the same menu, choose Change cover, pick a photo and tap Use this cover. To go back to the cover we pick, choose Let ShareLocket choose.
