Relationships in your circle
Explore how the people in your circle are related, with the posts each link comes from, as a diagram or as a list you can read.
Explore relationships
Choose Relationships from your circle. Under Relationships to show, choose Member connections or People together in posts. Member connections are arranged by generation when the evidence agrees. The other view connects people to posts that describe them together; it does not infer relationships just because people appear in the same photo.
Read the sources
The Relationship list shows the same relationships as the diagram, with source links. Choose Skip to relationship list to reach it directly with your keyboard. Open a source link to read the supporting words. Names may be added by a member or have their own source links. A source is evidence, not a guarantee that a relationship is correct.
Unknown generations and limited results
If relationships disagree about generations, the page says Unknown generation and keeps those relationships in the list. When the graph can't show everything, a notice says Some people, relationships, or sources aren't shown. It is not a complete family tree.
Refresh and closed circles
Choose Refresh graph to check the current sources. If they changed, the graph refreshes and tells you. If it cannot load, choose Try again. You can read available relationships in a closed circle. Hidden, removed, or otherwise unavailable sources do not contribute to your graph.
