Tables in your circle

See a collection as a table you can sort by any column, load more rows, and open the post each value came from.

Open a table

Open a collection and choose Table when it is available. Collections with mostly single text, number, or date fields can use this view. Choosing it does not change the collection's usual view. Choose Grid to return to the cards.

Sort the whole collection

Choose a sortable column heading to put its values in order. Choose it again to reverse the direction. Sorting applies to the whole visible collection, including rows you have not loaded yet. Numbers sort numerically, and missing values stay at the end in either direction. A dash means there is no available value.

Column headings are buttons you can reach with Tab and activate with Enter or Space. The sorted heading tells screen readers its direction. On a small screen or with enlarged text, focus the table area to scroll across its columns.

Read more rows and check sources

The table shows how many visible rows are available and how many are shown. Choose Load more rows to continue. Open a link under Source post to read the original post, or a citation beside a value to check its evidence. Dates keep their original wording and precision.

When the collection changes

If sources change while you load more rows, the table refreshes from the beginning and tells you. It never joins pages from different versions. If a read fails, choose Try again. Available rows remain readable in a closed circle; hidden or unavailable sources do not contribute values or counts.
