Tagging people in your circle

Name the people in a photo or post shared to your circle. Members you tag get a notification; anyone else just gets their name on the post.

Tag someone in a post

  1. Open your circle and find a post shared directly to the circle. Posts referenced from an album keep their tagging in that album.
  2. For a photo, open it full screen and choose Tag people, then tap a face or drag a circle around someone. For a post without a photo, choose Who's in this? below the post (it says Add someone once someone is tagged). Then start typing a name.
  3. Choose a circle member from the list to tag them. They receive a notification in ShareLocket.
  4. If the person is not a circle member, add their name instead. Their name appears on the post, but no notification is sent.

Your circle stays private

Suggested names come from this circle. A name you add here does not become a suggestion in another circle.

Tagging is manual. ShareLocket does not identify people in photos automatically.
