Why can't I post to this album's Guest Book?
If the album's owner has turned the Guest Book off, new posts and reactions are paused until they turn it on again. Nothing already posted is lost.
When the Guest Book is closed
The Guest Book is the part of an album where guests can leave their own photos, reactions, and notes. It's the album owner's switch, and they can turn it on and off whenever they like — for one album or for several. When it's off, the Guest Book goes quiet, but nothing is lost.
What happens while the Guest Book is closed
- Existing posts stay. Every post, reaction, and comment that's already in the Guest Book stays exactly where it is. Guests can still read everything.
- New posts and reactions are paused. The composers and reaction buttons are hidden until the owner opens the Guest Book again.
- The album itself is unaffected. The owner's photos, videos, and stories keep working as normal. Only what guests add is paused.
I'm the owner — how do I open it again?
Open your album, go to its Guest Book tab, and turn the Guest Book back on. It reopens right away — guests can post and react again. There's nothing to pay: the Guest Book is free on every album.
Only the album's owner can make this change. Co-editors can't, and guests don't see the option at all.
If you're a guest and you'd like to post, let the album owner know. They can open the Guest Book again whenever they're ready.
