Save invitations before your album is ready

You don't have to wait until your album is perfect before gathering your guest list. You can start adding people now, and we'll hold on to their names until you're ready to send everything at once.

How it works

1. Open your album and go to the People tab.
2. Click Add person. The invite window opens with all the same tools — type a name, paste a list, or pull in contacts from Google, Outlook, or Yahoo.
3. When you've added everyone you want, click Save. Your album isn't published yet, so nothing goes out — we just remember them for later.
4. Change your mind about someone? Remove them from the list and we'll free up their spot right away.
5. When your album is ready to share, publish it. A new button appears on the People tab: Send all unsent invitations. Click it, and every saved invitation goes out at once.

Good to know

• You can save up to 200 invitations per album in total. Saved invitations count toward that number while you hold on to them.
• If you remove a saved invitation before sending, it doesn't count anymore — no harm done.
• Once you send, the usual 7-day acceptance window starts. Recipients receive the same warm invitation email or text they'd get if you sent one at a time.
• You can also send new invitations one at a time after publishing — the big Send all unsent button is just a shortcut for whatever you've been saving up.
