Creating Pages

Group related photos and videos together into pages.

Organizing Memories with Pages

Pages are a great way to keep related memories together — like all the photos from the ceremony, or every video from a birthday party.

Creating a page from a bulk upload

The quickest way to create a page is to upload several files at once:

  1. Tap the + button on your album.
  2. Choose Upload Photo / Video.
  3. Select multiple files at once from your device.
  4. When you've chosen your files, a new page will be created for you automatically.

Adding items to a page manually

You can also move existing photos or videos into a page:

  1. Tap the + button and choose New Page.
  2. Browse your album to find the items you'd like to add.
  3. Tap each item to include it in the page.
  4. Tap Done when you're finished.

Drag one memory onto another to make a page

If you're already on your album, the easiest way to group two memories is to drag one on top of the other:

  1. Press and hold a photo or video on your album.
  2. Drag it on top of another photo or video.
  3. Hold it there for about a second until you see a blue ring appear around the other item.
  4. Let go — the two memories will be grouped into a new page together.

You can add more memories to the same page the same way: drag them on top of the page. To take a memory back out of a page, just drag it back to an empty spot on your album.

Rearranging memories on your album

You can also drag memories around to change their order on the album. Just press and hold, then drag to the new spot — no need to hover, just drop it where you want it.

Moving things around with a keyboard

If you prefer to use a keyboard, you can rearrange memories too:

  1. Tab to a photo or video until it has a focus outline.
  2. Press the Spacebar to pick it up.
  3. Use the up and down arrow keys to move it through the list.
  4. Press Spacebar again to drop it in place, or Escape to put it back where it was.

This works the same way inside a page — focus a photo inside, press Spacebar, and use the arrows to rearrange it within the page.

Press Left or Right arrow while holding an item inside a page to move it back to your main album.

Page details are optional

Pages can have a title, a caption, and a date range — but none of these are required. If you'd rather just let the photos speak for themselves, that's perfectly fine.

If your album is already live

If your album is already live, rearranging or grouping memories is held back until you click Publish Changes. Your guests keep seeing the album the way they last saw it while you tidy things up. See our publishing changes to a live album article for more.
