How to Sign In

Sign in with your email and password, with Google or Apple, or with a passkey, and what to do if we briefly lock your account.

Signing In

All your sign-in options live on one screen — pick whichever is quickest for you:

Email & password

  1. Tap Sign In on the homepage.
  2. Enter your email and password.
  3. If you've enabled two-factor authentication, enter the code from your authenticator app.

Google or Apple

Tap the Continue with Google or Continue with Apple button and follow the prompts.

Passkey (passwordless)

If you've set up a passkey, just tap into the email field — your device will offer to sign you in with it right there, the same way it offers a saved password. Choose it and confirm with your device's biometrics (Face ID, fingerprint, or PIN) and you're in.

You can also choose Sign in with a passkey, just below Sign in with Email on the sign-in screen. Confirm with your face, fingerprint, or screen lock, with no email to type.

Forgot your password? Tap "Forgot password?" on the sign-in page and we'll email you a reset link.

Picking up where you left off

If you tapped a button on an album page before signing in — say, "Leave a memory" — we'll bring you right back to that album after you sign in, with the same composer open and ready.

If we briefly lock your account

If you mistype your password several times in a row, we'll briefly lock the account for about 15 minutes for your safety. You can either wait it out or use Forgot your password? to get a fresh start.
