Stop sharing an album

Share a sharing album with fewer people, take one person off, or archive it so visitors lose access. Nothing is deleted, and you can restore it.

This is for the owner of a published sharing album. Choose how far you want to go. Nothing here deletes anything.

Share it with fewer people

  1. Open the album's workspace and choose Settings.
  2. Under Who can view this album?, choose Only people you invite.

Now only the people you invited, and the members of its circle, can see it. Anyone else who has the link can't open it.

Take one person off

To end one person's access, see Manage the people on your album. Someone who is in the album's circle keeps access for as long as they're in the circle.

Archive it

  1. In the album's workspace, choose the More album actions button (the three dots beside View), then Archive.
  2. Choose Archive album to confirm.

Visitors lose access until you restore it, and it leaves your circle's list of sharing albums. Nothing in it is deleted. Visitors who open its link see that it has been archived. See What happens when an album is archived?

To share it again, open its workspace and choose Restore.
