Choose which emails and texts you get

Choose how often you get emails about your albums, whether you hear about new features, and your text message choice, on Your Profile.

Your Notification Preferences

You're in control of how we reach you. In How often we contact you on your profile, you'll find three simple choices:

  • Emails about your albums — Pick how often you hear about new posts, comments, and changes on albums you're part of: Off, Daily digest, or Every update. One choice covers all your albums.
  • Product updates and tips — An occasional email about new features and helpful tips. This is separate from your album emails — turning one off doesn't affect the other.
  • Updates by text message — We don't send updates by text just yet; this simply saves your choice for when we do. Texts that keep your account safe, like sign-in codes, always arrive.

How to change your preferences

  1. Go to Your Profile.
  2. Scroll down to How often we contact you.
  3. Pick the options that suit you.
  4. That's it — your choice saves automatically.

You can come back and change these any time — there's no limit on how often you can update them.

Emails about your albums, in detail

Whenever something happens on an album you're part of — a new photo, a comment, a reaction — we can let you know by email:

  • Off — no album emails at all. You can still see everything when you visit.
  • Daily digest — one email a day, sent at 8 am in your local time, with a friendly summary of the past 24 hours across all your albums.
  • Every update — emails arrive as things happen. During a busy stretch, we quietly bundle a few updates together so your inbox doesn't fill up all at once.

Every album activity email has an Unsubscribe link in the footer. One tap switches you to Off straight away, with no sign-in needed. Your email address is never shared with other members; every email comes from our system address.

Tip: A few emails always reach you no matter what you choose — receipts, sign-in codes, and security alerts. And even with everything off, you'll still see alerts inside the app when you visit.
