What Premium includes

Premium for the whole circle

There's one thing to pay for: Premium for your circle. It covers the whole circle, whoever pays for it. It can renew on its own every month or every year, or you can buy months or a year once, with nothing renewing. Everything you do inside the circle is included.

• More people in your circle than a free one holds. The Pricing page shows how many.
• Every post. Your circle shows everything it has ever shared, not only the posts from the past 30 days.
• Sharing albums. Make as many as you like from your circle. There's no charge to publish one, no time limit on editing it, and a sharing album you've made stays yours.
• Picture frames. Your circle's photos can go to a digital picture frame. See Show family photos on a digital frame.
• The Guest Book is included, and free, on every sharing album. It lets the people you've invited keep adding to a published album. Turn it on or off for each album whenever you like.

Add Premium

Any active member of a circle without Premium can add it. A circle can't have two subscriptions: the person who pays for it manages it from My Account, and others can still add one-time months.

1. Choose Add Premium from the circle's home page, its Members page, or its Settings. You can also start from My Account: under Your circles' Premium status, choose Add Premium beside the circle.
2. If asked, verify your email address and phone number.
3. Choose a subscription, Monthly or Yearly, or a one-time payment for months or a year. Check the price, enter your card details, and finish the payment. If your bank asks you to confirm it, follow its instructions.

Payments are handled by Stripe. Your receipt comes by email. When payment is confirmed, you'll see that the circle has Premium. For one-time months, free months, and adding to a circle that already has Premium, see Adding Premium to a circle.

Renewing or cancelling

A subscription renews every month or every year, depending on the one you chose, until you cancel. Cancel any time from My Account, and nothing is deleted.

If you pay for the subscription, open My Account and, under Your circles' Premium status, choose Manage beside the circle to update your payment details or cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your circle keeps Premium until the end date shown.

If the person who pays leaves the circle or is removed, the subscription ends after its current paid period. Months that haven't started yet aren't returned: see Using your free months. The last person in a circle can't leave it: they pause it or delete it instead. If that Premium is paused, has an overdue payment, or has an unfinished checkout, it is cancelled immediately. Any open invoice for the overdue subscription is voided, so there is nothing more to collect. We email the departing payer and the circle owner about an ending subscription. Nothing more is charged, and nothing is deleted.

If Premium ends

When Premium ends, the circle keeps working as a free circle and nothing anyone shared is deleted: see When Premium ends.

Your photos are always yours

You can download the original photos and videos at any time, with or without Premium. Premium changes what the circle shows you. It never stands between you and your own photos.

The price you see is the price you pay

The current price is on the Pricing page. Tax is already included, wherever you live. Nothing is added at checkout.

If payment doesn't go through

If someone else in the circle is adding Premium right now, try again in a little while. If the circle already has a subscription, whoever pays for it manages it from My Account. If the card on file didn't work, the person who pays can update it in My Account. If Premium is paused, only we can restart it: see When a circle's Premium is paused. If Premium isn't available right now, try again in a little while.
