How to Change Your Phone Number

Switching phones or got a new number? Here's how to update it:

1. Go to Account Settings.
2. Tap Change Phone Number.
3. Enter your current password to confirm it's really you.
4. Type your new phone number.
5. Tap Save.

We'll text a 6-digit code to your new number. Enter that code to finish the switch.

Already on the right number but it's not verified?

If the phone number on your profile is already correct but hasn't been verified yet, you'll see a small Verify now button right next to it. Tap it to send yourself a fresh 6-digit code by text — no need to open Change Phone Number and re-type the same number. Type the code in, and the little "Unverified" tag goes away.

Good to know

• The code expires after 15 minutes. If it expires, just repeat the steps and we'll send a new one.
• Make sure you can receive text messages on the new number before you start.
• Your old number stays on file until you confirm the new one.
