Recover your account

If you lose access to your device or your passkey, you can still recover your account using your email and phone number. Your account and photos are safe — we'll get you back in with a few quick steps.

How account recovery works

When you sign in after losing your passkey, we'll verify your identity using two channels: your email and your phone number. This dual-verification keeps your account secure.

Recover in 3 steps

  1. Enter your email. Tell us which email is tied to your account.
  2. Verify your email. Check your inbox for a verification link. Click it to confirm you own that email address.
  3. Verify your phone. We'll text a code to the phone number on file. Enter the code to finish recovery and access your account.

Timing

You have 15 minutes to verify both your email and phone. If you don't complete both steps in time, just start over — there's no penalty.

What if I don't have my phone?

Recovery requires access to both your email and phone number. If you've lost both devices or access to either channel, please contact our support team. We'll help you regain access to your account.

Protecting your account with a backup passkey

To prevent lockout in the future, register a second passkey on another device (phone, tablet, or computer). If you lose one device, the other will still let you sign in. You can add a backup passkey anytime in your account settings under Security.
