Signing in with two-factor authentication

If your account uses two-factor authentication, here's how to enter your authenticator or backup code when you sign in.

If you already have two-factor authentication on your account, we'll ask for a code after your password.

Sign in with your email and password.
Open your authenticator app and enter its six-digit code in Authentication code. You can also use one of your eight-character backup codes.
Tap Verify to finish signing in.

Keep your backup codes somewhere safe.

Signing in with a passkey already proves it's you, so you won't be asked for a code.

Two-factor authentication can't be turned on or off from your profile. If we told you it changed and it wasn't you, follow A change you didn't make.

If you can't use your authenticator app or a backup code, contact us and we'll help you get back in.

For another way to keep sign-in simple, you can add a passkey from your profile.
