Change Your Password

If you know your current password

1. Go to Your Profile.
2. Scroll down to Keeping your account safe.
3. Enter your current password, then type your new password twice to confirm.
4. Tap Save.

Your new password needs to be at least 8 characters long. To keep your account safe, we'll also let you know if the password you picked is one that's commonly used or has shown up in a known data breach — if so, just choose a different one. For your safety, we'll automatically sign you out on any other devices so no one else stays logged in with the old password.

If you've forgotten your password

1. On the sign-in page, tap Forgot password?
2. Enter your email address.
3. Check your inbox and tap the reset link.
4. Choose a new password.

Tip: Longer is stronger. A short phrase you'll remember — but that others can't easily guess — works better than a short, complicated password.
