Deleting Your Account

We're sorry to see you go. If you'd like to permanently delete your account, here's how:

1. Go to Your Profile.
2. Scroll down to Your data, your choice.
3. Type the confirmation phrase shown on screen to make sure this is intentional.
4. Tap Delete My Account.

What happens next

Your account enters a 72-hour waiting period. During this time, your account is paused but nothing is deleted yet.

• Changed your mind? Simply go back to Account Settings and tap Cancel Deletion at any time during those 72 hours. Everything will go back to normal.
• After 72 hours, your account and all associated data — albums, photos, videos, messages, and payment history — will be permanently removed. This cannot be undone.

Tip: If you just want to take a break, you can simply log out. Your albums and memories will be right where you left them when you come back.
