Who can see what in my circle?
Only the people in your circle see what is shared in it. Here is what members can see about each other, and what only the owner or you can see.
This is for anyone in a circle who wants to know who sees what.
Posts, photos, and comments
Everything shared in a circle is seen only by the people in it. A circle has no public page, and nothing in it shows up anywhere outside it. Someone who leaves or is removed can't see it any more, and someone whose spot is paused can't see it until their spot comes back.
Hiding a post hides it for you alone. See Hide a post from your own feed.
What members see about each other
Everyone in the circle can see the others' names, profile pictures, and roles on the Members page. Members don't see each other's email addresses or phone numbers.
The owner and admins also see pending invitations, with part of each email address or phone number hidden. When someone is set up on a different number from everyone else, the owner and admins can see that number so they can pass it on.
Who pays
Everyone can see that the circle has Premium. Only the owner and the person who pays can see who pays. See Who pays for Premium?
Your location
You choose how much of your location each circle sees. See How much of your location your circle sees.
Sharing albums
Everyone in the circle can see its published sharing albums, private ones included. A sharing album someone is still putting together stays private until it's published. People invited to a sharing album see that sharing album, not the circle. See What is a sharing album?
How ShareLocket reads your posts
To gather posts into collections and fill in the People and Places pages, ShareLocket reads what's posted in the circle. You can turn this off for your own posts in each circle. See How ShareLocket organizes your circle.
