Your circle's settings
Everything you can change for a circle is in one place: what the whole circle shares, and the settings that are just for you.
Getting there
- Open your circle.
- Choose Circle options, then Settings.
The page is in two parts, This circle and Your settings. On a computer, the list down the left side takes you straight to each card. On a phone, use the row of buttons at the top.
If your spot in a circle is paused, the page shows just Your location, Premium, and Leave this circle. Choose Add Premium to bring the circle's Premium back, and your spot with it. If the circle itself is paused, Premium isn't shown.
There's no Save button anywhere on the page. Each change is kept as soon as you make it, and a short note beside it confirms it.
This circle
These cards are about the circle itself, so a change here is a change for everyone in it. Some are only for the circle's owner and admins, and are marked Owner and admins. If you aren't one of them, you won't see those cards.
- Name and picture (owner and admins). The name and picture everyone sees on their shelf, and at the top of every email and text from the circle. See Rename or pause a circle and Add a picture for your circle.
- Premium (everyone). See what the circle has, and add to it.
- Picture frames (owner and admins). Show the circle's latest photos on a digital photo frame. See Show family photos on a digital frame.
- Download everything in this circle (everyone). One file with every photo and video at full size, every post and comment, and everyone who has been a member. See Download all of your circle's photos.
- Pause this circle (owner and admins). Everything posted stays, but nothing new can be added. You can reopen it any time.
- Delete this circle (owner only). Erases the circle for everyone, for good. See Delete a circle.
Your settings
Every member has these cards, and what you choose here is just for you.
- Your posting address. Your own email address for the circle. Emails you send to it from your registered email address post to the circle as you. Choose Copy to copy it, or Reset address to get a new one. See Share family photos by text or email.
- How you hear from this circle. Shows how you hear from the circle today. Choose Notification settings to change your email and text choices. See Choose how you hear from your circle.
- How ShareLocket organizes your posts. Turn off Let ShareLocket organize my posts to leave your own posts out. See How ShareLocket organizes your circle.
- Your location. Choose what the rest of the circle sees about where your photos were taken. See How much of your location your circle sees.
- Leave this circle. Step out of the circle whenever you like. See How do I leave a circle?
